Megan and Will live on a housing
estate where a gang of bullies called The Rooks terrorise the neighbourhood.
Megan’s dream is to change the
estate and create a proper community. She finds a magical book that plunges her
and her friend Will into a wild adventure, encountering enemy Rooks in various
forms.
They travel through mysterious
lands in search of the Virtue Fruits that have the power to transform the hearts
of the people who live on their estate.
The idea behind the story is that people can change. I've used the Christian virtues of the nine Fruits of the Spirit as the basis for the quest that Will and Megan go on, knowing that manifesting these virtues in our lives, carries a transforming power in reality, not just in story.
