Hi everyone! Welcome to my new Blog.
I was born in a
small seaside town in south Wales, which features, with occasional adjustments,
in some of my stories. I completed ‘A’ level Art at Swansea College of Art,
then moved to Cheltenham and spent my time, when not working, among the art
students and hippie poets of the town. I played guitar and sang Folk songs at
the random gatherings held in my flat.
On moving to Rochester I developed a passion for
traditional English folk songs, and performed in various Folk clubs. Some of
these songs have been the inspiration for my Folk Song series of stories.
I became an English teacher, married and
raised a family, which have now grown up and left home. So I have returned to my love of story writing where I love to travel in the company of my characters and escape into the lands and places my stories and poems create.
